He’s trained in acoustic and electronic leak detection, thermal and infrared imaging, and video sewer-camera inspection, the toolkit that lets him pinpoint a leak before anyone picks up a shovel.
Miguel Torres brings 15+ years of experience to Leak Detection Santa Ana’s detection work, with hands-on training in acoustic and electronic leak-listening equipment, thermal and infrared imaging, and video sewer-camera inspection. Where founder David Herrera sets the company’s overall standard for detection accuracy, Miguel is often the technician actually running the equipment on a given job, locating slab leaks, tracing water heater and pool leaks, and inspecting sewer lines by camera before anyone recommends digging.
Miguel’s approach reflects the company’s core belief: find it precisely first, then talk about repair. That toolkit is why his work covers a wide range of the company’s service areas, from water heater leaks to pool and spa leaks to general leak-detection calls that don’t fit neatly into one category.
He is also a named technical co-author and reviewer, alongside David, on the company’s gas leak detection content, where his training in acoustic and electronic detection methods is the closest in-house fit. The safety-response guidance itself is handled jointly with David, and it always points toward SoCalGas or 911 for an active emergency, never a closed-loop, do-it-yourself fix.
